I've upgraded my server, so if things aren't working let me know (I know that the PDF stuff isn't working). With the upgrade, my IP address has changed which means that the SLI chatroom will not work after today. I'll post a new SLI soon. The new SLI will include the 2 current online only expansion packs along with the new Ancients online only expansion pack. Also, with the upgrade I'll now be able to host a stratego legends forum, so look for that in the near future. Some sad news. Avalon Hill has discontinued Stratego Legends. |

Starting December 9, 2003 there will be a gaming night every Tuesday at 9 P.M. Players from around
the world will join in for sli competition. So get your Armies prepared for battle. You never know who will
await you.
Rumor has it that the Lord of Bones and his army are pushing there way thru the divide, but have no fear, the Ancients are responding with an attack of there own! Thats right, coming soon, a new online only expansion to be released. It will consist of green ancients to fulfill the needs of the beige armies. The brackets have been set and games will start tomorrow. Because of the number of participants, the winners from the previous tournaments will have byes until the simi finals. If there are some no shows (people who signed up and don't play) then the previous tourney winners will be put into those slots. Remember this is just a game, Have fun, and good luck! |

I've extended the sign up period for the Darkskies Tournement (until 10/18). I would like to see at least 16 people join. I have decided to provide the first place prize myself. The winner of the tournament will recieve a Noslrac pawn. This pawn was given out at 2000 gaming conventions, it is not in any set. |

The Hall of Fame is no longer empty. Blane61
defeated me in what turned out to be a best of five. I have added him to the Hall, along with
some of his impressive stats. The next tournament is coming up soon, along with a new version of SLI. Stay tuned for details. |

Also, Blaneg61 dicovered a bug in the SLI update routine. If your army has a comma (or special chars, maybe) in its name the stats on your army will not update correctly. I am in the process of testing a patch that will fix this. I will post it soon. For now, if you want your stats to be updated correctly use an army without a comma in its name. In my opinion, the builder page is taking too long to load. I have changed the page to only display the armies that have at least one win. The other armies (no wins) will be on another page that can be accessed by a link at the bottom of the builder page. |

After talking to Mr Fear last night I have decided to change things around again.
The big changes are how the BM will work and how to advance rounds.
The BM will have the choice of either picking a side (good or evil) or who goes first for the first game.
Each game thereafter you will switch sides, and the loser of the previous game will choose
who goes first. The first person to win at least one game from each side (good and evil) will advance to the next round. In the final round the first
person to win at least one game from each side (good and evil) and have at least 3 total wins will be crowned champion.
If your round goes 10 games without a winner then there will be a sudden death game. The person who was not
the orignal BM will now be the Battle Master. The winner of the sudden death game
will advance to the next round. I don't think 11 games will ever be necessary to declare a winner, but the sudden death game is there just incase.
I am eliminating the Sinnue rule from below, but keeping the Ground Lightning/Dumes rule. I have updated the tournamemt rules page to reflect the changes. As always, If you have any concerns or suggestions about these rule changes let me know. |

The 2002 Madness tournament has a sponsor. TwilightCards has once again donated the first place prize.
The First place prize will be a random set of 4 terrain boards, and 1 random booster. I personally appreciate their support, if you
need anything for Stratego Legends give them a visit. From the results of the last tournament, I feel that the evil side has the upper hand on the good side. So, to even things up a bit the 2002 Madness Tournament will have the following two rules.
I have also made the following rule change to the Thunder Point Tournamemt Rules.
Finally, I made a change to the way the Hall of Fame challenge will be played. The first time a player takes the Hall of Fame challenge I will be the BM. For each challenge after that we will alternate being the BM for the first game. |

Well, it's time to sign up for the next tournament. The 2002 Madness Tournament is now open for
sign up. The close date will be 2/22/2002, and games will start 2/25/2002. There will be a few changes from the last tournament. The way you advance rounds, and the Hall of Fame challenge will be different. I haven't quite figure out what I'm going to do, I'll post the changes Monday. The reason for the changes is the fact that in the last 2 rounds and in the Hall of Fame challenge the evil side posted a record of 11 wins, 3 losses. Does this mean anything, let me know what you think? Also, there will be a special Ground Lightning/Dumes rule for the tournament.
