his variation requires 10 boards, one being water only.
The boards are set up as the like this.
You will also need 4 armies....2 beige and 2 gray....Setup follows:The setup is such...you place one of the beige armies on terrains marked with X...the other beige army on the terrains with XX....The gray armies you place on on the terrains marked O....and the other on the terrains marked OO.....You then get 2 extra switches (example: normal game play requires two switches per army...with this setup you would receive 6 switches....2 of them are for your castles which must end up on the terrain that is placed by itself on either end of the board) You then leave the two other terrains boards empty...leaving a space for your armies to come together and clash.....The water board in the middle give an advantage to flyers obviously....(There is only one other ruling that I came up with in this game....there is only one floodbringer allowed in the game otherwise it becomes rather one sided...seeing as the flood bringer gets so many choices on what to destroy) |
