attle for Artolis: The providence of Artolis lies on the border
of the great Divide. Before the Divide was created, Artolis was a
land of turmoil. The people lived in fear of attack from the mighty Gargans ( who felt the
land belonged to them ). Many great battles were fought and won by both sides, but one could tell the people of Artolis were slowly being crushed by a mightier foe. On the Eve of the creating
of the Divide, the Gargans had planned a great assault ( one they had hoped
would rid themselves of the Artolians ). Fortunately, for the Artolians, the Divide
saved them from the attack and certain doom. Since that time Artolis has flurished and grown
into a great power among the people of good; and the Gargans have never fogotten
that the land of Artolis was once almost theirs. Now the divide has been destroyed, the Gargans have quickly attacked and captured the northern most city of Artolis. The Gargan war party is small and has sent word for more reinforcement. It is their goal to conquer the land Artolis one last time. News of the invasion has reached the captial of Artolis ( the southern most city ). Panic has swept the land, generals are scrambling to organize their troops. "Your Majesty, We will unroot this disease from our land and we will not stop until every last Gargan is dead." "Your words do confort me, my son. Now go, and do that which you have promised." |

Notes: The battle for Artolis consist of three scenarios ( games ). Depending on who wins the first game determines what scenario is played next. I will be adding the other two scenarios later. If all three scenarios are used, there will be an additional winning condition to win the overall campaign. I have tried to make the scenarios work with either the box sets or custom armies. If custom armies are used for this scenario. The gray player must only use Gargans ( unless both parties agreed not to ), and the beige player can only have one Holy Knight. |
